A growing garden is the most peaceful thing to watch and ponder. It's an inspiration to create something and watch it prosper. I just received the illustration sketches for Ruby Begonia and the High Heeled Sneakers and I get the same wonderful feeling looking at those. It's a reality, it's going to happen. Looking at images that were created by my imagination is the most incredible thing I have ever felt.

Well, it sure feels like the summer has begun. Taking some time out to go and "smell the roses" is imperative. I took a few photos around CT, at the White Flower Farm in Morris and Jane E. Pierce Park in Southbury. I remember in around, of, oh... February or March just dying to see green and color. I have been so happy to capture the colors and textures this season. Next year, when it's dead and cold outside, I can look at the pictures and remember just how much everything comes to life in the spring. Here are a few, enjoy!
